OTHER INTERESTING FACTS
•Small engine, big power: MotoGP bikes create incredible horsepower when considering power per liter of engine displacement. MotoGP bikes would create 275 horsepower per liter of engine displacement, as their 800cc engines are less than 1 liter yet still produce approximately 220 horsepower. IndyCars generate 191 horsepower per liter and NEXTEL Cup Series 139 horsepower per liter.
•Pit stops: While IndyCar Series and NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series cars make multiple pit stops during races at IMS, MotoGP motorcycles do not make any scheduled stops.

Red Bull Indianapolis GP tickets: Ticket orders are being accepted now for the inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis GP on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, the first motorcycle race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in nearly 100 years.
Orders can be placed either online at www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com or by mailing an order form to IMS. The order form is available at the IMS Web site or by calling the IMS Ticket Office at (800) 822-INDY outside the Indianapolis area or (317) 492-6700 locally. Ticket Office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
All tickets for this event are three-day tickets, with both reserved and general admission seating available.
