·Won second World Superbike Championship, with the HANNspree Ten Kate Honda team … Scored eight wins, a total of 14 podiums and two poles in 23 races, winning the championship by two points over Noriyuki Haga, 415-413. 

2006

·Finished second in the World Superbike Championship riding for Winston Ten Kate Honda with one pole, three wins and a total of 12 podiums.

2005

·Finished fourth in the World Superbike Championship with Ducati, earning seven podiums and one win.

2004

·Became the youngest World Superbike Champion in history, at age 23, riding for the Ducati factory team … Earned three wins and a total of 14 podiums in 22 races.

2003

·Scored his first career World Superbike victory at Oschersleben with GSE Racing … Finished third in points with a total of nine podiums … Also earned his first career World Superbike pole.


2002

·Finished seventh in World Superbike points with GSE Racing, earning a best finish of third.

2001

·Made his World Superbike debut, at Valencia, with GSE Racing … Competed in 24 events and finished 13th in series points.
