RE Sarah Fisher
Message:
This is a thread about Sarah Fisher, not Danica Patrick.
Sarah did the quarter-midget, go-kart, and sprint car racing ... I remember her first year at Indy, she was a terror on the track, often trying to drift through the corners much the same way the Outlaw Winged Sprint cars would on the dirt tracks - that does have a place on the smaller tracks, but not on the long tracks like the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Her driving has improved over the years, she's not as overly aggressive as she was - but if she was truly a great driver, she'd have sponsors that would be jumping out of the woodwork to cover the entire 2008 season.
What Sarah needs, to really compete, other than fan support is a good manager. Someone who "knows people" who can hook her up with the right sponsorships. Without that, she'll go completely broke trying to fund herself.
I may not be a big fan of Sarah, but it's a serious shame that she was taken out, she probably wouldn't have top 10'd it, but she could've at least finished on the lead lap.
