 hayden visits indy I read on superbike.com that Nicky is coming to visit Indy in April to promote the upcoming race. Does anyone know if this will be open to the public or just the media.

Yes, open to public Yes, spectators can watch the Hayden laps by sitting in the South Terrace grandstands, located in the infield adjacent to the exit of the Gate 2 (Main Gate) tunnel.
